Reason and Mission

Baile Project was created from lived experience.

Moving abroad showed us how challenging integration can be: the loneliness, the lack of information, and the barriers many immigrants face — from language to stereotypes, racism, and xenophobia. For Latinas abroad, for example, these struggles are often amplified by hypersexualization and gender inequality.

Instead of letting those challenges define us, we chose art as our response.

Dance became our bridge: a universal language capable of connecting people, building friendships, and opening dialogue. Through our classes, events, and collaborations, Baile Project creates spaces where diversity is celebrated, stereotypes are broken, and mental health is nurtured.

Our reason is simple yet powerful: to prove that community is stronger than isolation, and that culture can be a tool not only for joy, but also for social change.
