Baile Project is a cultural initiative based in Amsterdam that connects people through art, dance, and community.
Born from the immigrant experience, Baile was created to be more than just a dance school — it is a home where people can connect, celebrate their culture, and take care of their mental health through the universal language of movement.
Our mission is to build bridges across cultures, foster a thriving and inclusive community, and create a platform to study and celebrate Latinx culture beyond stereotypes.
We use art as both a bridge for dialogue and a tool for social change.
Baile is pioneer in introducing Brazilian Funk and one of the few that offers Reggaeton dance classes in the Netherlands, and continues to expand its work with collaborations, workshops, and cultural events that showcase the richness of Latinx heritage.
At its core, Baile is about people.
It’s about belonging, celebrating diversity, and creating a space where everyone — no matter their nationality, gender, or sexuality — can feel at home, be respected, and grow together.
